:bademoticon:[FOR THE FIRST SIX SNOWMEN] So I've waited for 2 days to get a simple reply on my simple trivia, and to be honest for such a simple request I'm DISAPPOINTED: only 4 of 6 snowmen replied and that still needed 2 days! Not to mention out of all 7 members including me only 5 have cast their votes on the strategy, and only 4 of 7 have submitted their deviations on the snowball subjects journal. Whatever the reasons might be, you guys are SLOW, there I said it!
We should watch on how other teams out there are so on with the game!

UPDATE per Dec 15:
By now 5/6 snowmen replied to my trivia, 5/7 have submitted their deviations to snowball subjects journal (with one haven't submitted any on purpose, so that still counts 6/7 participation), & 6/7 have voted on the strategy. Great, now captain is relieved that my messages actually reached out to you!
Although there's still absolutely no news from squanpie (the missing 1/7), I wonder if she actually scheduled a note to BeccaJS for the team mascots. And there's no sign if she replied to other team members' mentions as well out there. I hope there's nothing serious going on and she'll show up eventually.I have no choice but to start our training early as well, I'm gonna turn you formless snow globs into pristine, tough zen-master tiger ice carvings. As I said in the latest news, I'm going to create a journal where we + our enemies can submit deviations open for critiques if we go with Plan 2. I "can't" really do that shall we end up with Plan 1 since our policy would be total silence while the accepting-critiquable journal is going to be prone to enemies' taunting - which is FUN in its own way.
Write your critiques somewhere (e.g.: Notepad, Ms. Word), save them for yourself in the meantime.
And later on Dec 24 PST - please remember the time zone, we don't want our critique count wasted, don't we? - start to copy-paste them on the deviations' critique feature/comment box, then copy the links and submit them quietly here (we'll see if later we play really quiet or not though):

Wow I just realized the title is all 4 S - or I could always change it to "Samurai Snowmen's Super Secret Snowball Stash"! Good sign, I tell you sneaky soldiers!
Now, this journal is where we put our critique/comment links. As opposed to submit them immediately to the official count journal, we're doing it here until January the 5th. I suppose I could just give BeccaJS the link to this place later (yeah, le bomb! also useful for easy counting) in the count journal when the time comes

Let's start with the most basic and maybe the most fun of all:
"Why are you joining Critmas 2017?"
Be honest please, all answers are welcome. 
For me, it's as simple as having fun in the race as I've always loved contests & games (although not really locally at my place - don't ask lol). Sure it's going to help fellow artists improve by giving constructive feedback, but mostly for me it's the game part. I joined Critmas last year under LiliWrites and it was fun, although that robbed my sleep time for one day. 
I had a new year's resolution to travel this year, actually would prefer to roam somewhere catching some winter trains than pulling all-nighters to write critiques but.. NOT! 
Still need to save. So I thought while waiting for my gold piling up, why not participate again - also there's some booty to gain! 
For you who also joined previous years' Critmas do you have a special or funny thing to remember (and let's share your old captain's secrets, hehe..)? My most memorable thing was to see 'dat mother kraken craftsbyblue hit the ceiling with 150 critiques!: Critmas 2016- The Critique Totals
That was my first time in Critmas 2016 and I'm proud enough to achieve 83 critiques in 14 days (if you really count it, it's 14 not 12 days - maybe they cut the Xmas day & Sunday).
And here's one thing I figured out: if I personally hadn't been so openly fiery last year, revealing my epic critique counts and cheering up fellow members in the published journals & statuses, I doubt the opposing-winning team would achieve that high number of critiques or that high level participants of their members. So there's no way I'm going to repeat that this time while I'm the captain, except for a few tiny statuses or replies in the recruitment/BeccaJS's launch journal. We're going to deceive them HARD!

Oh, also please let me know if you have any difficulty in replying notes/comments, accessing deviant art, accessing internet, or having busy life/Christmas time, maybe having mood swings, or even if you don't like me/my methods that you're not so up for the game, whatever please speak up, so I can brainwash you more effectively!
