Hello and thanks for visiting my thorny-hedgehog-y profile.
I'll appreciate if you want to donate (pour moi?? le pirate-esque moi? ) and I'll be giving back by writing a constructive comment on one of your deviations. The limit words would depend on the points you're donating, like 50 points = min. 50 words, 100 points = min. 100 words, and so on.
If there's not much more to comment on a deviation I'll just pick an additional deviation of yours to add up to the target word count.
Examples of my critiques can be found here:
Huntress on the Hunt! #1 Critmas 2016
After donating, tell me on my profile page which deviation you'd like me to comment/critique but NO "mature" content please, as you're already being warned by scrolling down my page. And no literature too simply because I'm not yet an expert in that.
Thanks so much!

🌍In the dry, dusty, and hot deserts of Egypt, the cat has marked its paw in the sand. To the Egyptians, cats were considered a divine creature in a fur coat. They excelled in hunting, keep the annoying vermin such as rats, mice, and even the snakes' populations down. Surprisingly, some even managed to train their cats to hunt along side them to fetch small game. The Egyptians like both wild and domesticated felines, so they didn't

The APN Guide: How To Shoot Flowers Big or small, with many shapes, sizes, and colors. Flowers can be an amazingly diverse subject matter to shoot. You can find them just about anywhere. Around your neighborhood, at a local park, or your front yard. You can even visit a local plant nursery. Because flowers are easy to access they are a great subject to practice learning how to set up composition in your photos.
Here are a few tips to help you get started.
Picking your flower
One of the most important parts of floral photography is picking your flower. You will want to think carefully about this question. Does the flower you choose have petals missing? Does it have little holes from a bug eating it? Do you want to highlight these imperfections or are you looking for a more pristine flower to shoot? If you are in a place with many different types of flowers, you might be a little overwhelmed at what to choose. Think about what part of the flower you l
following in mosaic footsteps Rasheed wouldn't tell anyone his last name.
He knew it would make him stand out, as much as he didn't know the strange feeling of being a foreigner in the place he was born—until now.
The dry wind carried up dust from the road. A sparrow perched on the fence cocked its head at him, then jumped to the ground, seeking refuge from the sun.
"Five days," he said aloud. Five days remaining to locate his missing brother.
He stepped over deep-rutted tire tracks in the road and turned west, his eyes seeking out the beautiful minaret that rose above the roofs of the city. Few would take kindly to a boy his age wandering the streets alone, but he prayed no one would stop him.
Shifting the bag on his shoulder, Rasheed thought back to the last time he had travel
I Won My First Contest!Hello everyone!
I just wanted to share that I won my first contest here:
Most of my artwork has been created with a contest in mind but up until today, I've never had the pleasure of placing in any of them. I know contests are not about winning however, it feels really good placing for the first time because of all the hard work I put into my pieces and improving my manipulations in general. This community is so friendly and there is no other community like DA that I have found. I appreciate each and every one of you and your support.
And today, I especially want to thank :iconslichoart: and the admins of :iconwe-heart-photomanip: for hosting the Springbreak contest.
I also would like to share with you a feature of all the submissions from the Springbreak contest because each one was truly beautiful. In no particular order, here are all the submissions:

Forbidden FeastWhen you first see it, you are certain that you're dreaming. Your jaw gapes sightly in a stilted gasp. The shadows from the trees above glide over the picnic blanket, surrounding it with a dark misty aura, but all the colors shine through. And what beautiful colors they are.
The centerpiece of the banquet is a pile of fluorescent doughnuts topped with neon sprinkles. The icing on each doughnut is immaculately layered, like cement on brickwork, and the shades of yellow, blue, pink and white are as garish yet appealing as vintage disco clothes. You can already anticipate the dense layer of sugar that will coat your teeth after you have finished.
After all, there's nobody else around. It is all yours.
As you slowly step closer to the feast, your face still smacked with utter disbelief, you observe the other treats laid out before you. A chocolate cupcake with a swirl of icing and a strawberry tucked in the corner, a hidden surprise to save for later. The giant pineapple and watermelon sli
